Metro Atlanta’s public meetings are where residents can learn about and act on the systems that impact their lives. But many public meetings happen with no oversight or input from the public.
Atlanta Documenters, powered by nonprofit Canopy Atlanta, trains and pays Metro Atlantans to take notes at public meetings. We publish those fact-checked notes for everyone to use.
This one-hour orientation will introduce you to Canopy Atlanta and Atlanta Documenters, including a walk-through of the program, how to do assignments, and what your rights are at public meetings. You’ll also have an opportunity to connect with other community members.
Upon completion of this workshop, you’ll be one step closer to being able to apply for paid assignments. Just make an account and register below!
