Indy galleries of your choice, Indianapolis, IN (Directions)

As Documenters, it is our job to cover all areas of Indianapolis, and that includes arts and culture, a massive part of which is the monthly First Friday events at galleries around the city.

Documenters will attend two to three of the following galleries during First Friday and collect interviews:

  • Gallery 924
  • The Stutz Building
  • Lost Dog Gallery
  • Harrison Center
  • Factory Arts District
  • Tube Factory Artspace
  • The Athenaeum
  • The Murphy Arts Center
  • Aurora PhotoCenter

*Note: these galleries are open for First Friday MOST months. It is your responsibility to check their websites and make sure they are open for this specific First Friday.

At each location you attend, you will conduct two to three interviews: one with an artist and one with an attendee, and a third with a staff member of the gallery if one is available.
