DESCRIPTION:The Cuyahoga Land Bank is a private\, non-profit\, government-
 purposed entity [formed in 2009](https://cuyahogalandbank.org/about/more-a
 bout-our-organization/) following the passage of Ohio Senate Bill 353. The
  Land Bank’s mission is to strategically acquire properties\, return the
 m to productive use\, reduce blight\, increase property values\, support c
 ommunity goals\, and improve the quality of life for county residents.\n\n

 d to consist of nine members: the Cuyahoga County Executive (or designee)\
 , the Cuyahoga County Treasurer (or designee)\, a County Council appointme
 nt\, two representatives from the largest city (Cleveland)\, and the remai
 ning members selected by the County Executive\, the County Treasurer and t
